8 Months Old

"What? I'm 8 months old!!"

This little cutie turned 8 months on April 23rd.  Late again on another blog post, but better late than never.  Erin has changed so much in the last month.  She is a very mobile baby!

She may have gained a few ounces this month but is still around the 14 lbs. No teeth yet!  I keep thinking some will be popping through any day now.

Erin has a darling personality.  So sweet and content.  She is starting to become an explorer.  Over the last few weeks she started army crawling and standard crawling on her hands and knees.  She also learned how to get herself up to a sitting position and back down again. 

In the last few days she has been trying to get herself pulled up to a standing position.  I am not ready for that ;)

Erin loves her feet!  Every diaper change her right foot goes start into her mouth. 

She is doing much better on her solids.  Loves bananas, peas, green beans, butternut squash, and apples.  We are trying new fruits and veggies regularly.  She also had a Mum Mum for the first time this past week and loved it. She loves to feed herself.  

Erin started drinking out of a sippy cup about 3 weeks ago!  WooHoo!  She is still nursing but it's great that she will take milk from a sippy cup too.  She must feel that bottles are for babies and she wants to be a big girl. 

Someone had to sneak into our photo shoot for a little kiss. They do love each other so much and Erin's face just lights up whenever Ellie is around.  Ellie likes to read books to Erin and help pick out Erin's clothes.
