Family Trip Part 2: Peachtree City

The girls with Nana Rose and Pop
The last week of our trip we spent time in Peachtree City with Pat's family.  We had a great time with the family and visiting with some close friends.

We spent a lot time playing at the playgrounds and enjoying the beautiful weather.  Ellie even played at Pat's Elementary School playground.

Zoo Atlanta

We had such a fun day at the Zoo with Nana Rose.

Ellie loves animals!!  It was a very busy day at the Zoo but we really had fun seeing all the animals.  She said her favorites were the flamingos, Giraffes, tiger, and gorillas.  She also enjoyed the up close look at the animals in the Reptile Room.

The Petting Zoo had tons of goats and Ellie loved brushing the goats.  She could has stayed there for hours.

We also took a short train ride around the kids section of the Zoo.

My dear friend Natalie was in town for Easter weekend.  We enjoyed getting to visit for a little bit and she got to meet Miss Erin for the first time.  We look forward to seeing her again this summer!

Our friends Chad and Chrissy welcomed their precious baby boy Caleb Perry early the morning we were leaving town to head home.  We saw them a few days before when they came over to see the girls.  We were so glad that we got to meet their precious baby boy!!

On our way back North we stopped to see Pat's grandparents.  We enjoyed spending the afternoon with them and they loved having their great granddaughters to love on.

I love these 2 pictures of my sweet little travelers.  These girls were amazing on our VERY long car ride home.  Erin napped and played and was very happy.  We had a good supply of books for Ellie to look at and read and she was happy too.  We also did lots of singing in the car.  One night in a hotel and another long day in the car and we were home!

We had a wonderful few weeks visiting family.  So thankful that we could do this trip.
