We celebrated the Easter Season with many fun activities with the girls while on our trip down South. At Cece and GPa's house we setup a big egg hunt in the backyard and Ellie had a blast finding all the colorful eggs.
This is typical Ellie. After she found all the eggs she had to line them up and count how many eggs she found. She found 18 eggs!! Betty was right there being a helpful puppy dog.
Erin watched from Cece's arms as Ellie searched for eggs. It was a little chilly during our time in Nashville. Next year she will get to join in on the egg hunt fun!
Let's Dye some Easter Eggs!!
Ellie loved watching the eggs take on all the beautiful colors. She was very gentle and careful dunking the eggs and moving them to the egg crate to dry.

Once again, Erin just sits back and observes. It's tough being the little sister sometimes ;)
I know she will love being a big girl and partaking in all the fun. I am okay with her staying my little baby for now.
So proud of her eggs. She requested that we write everyone's names on the eggs. She spelled all the names for me as I wrote them on the eggs with the special wax crayon.
Ellie enjoyed the taste of her very first Peep. An Easter candy favorite of mine.
Needless to say, she LOVED it!
Decorating cupcakes with Aunt Erin.
We were in Peachtree City Easter weekend with Pat's family.
Here is a picture of everyone after church.
Aunt Meghan and Erin
This is the best family picture we were able to get. Erin was still recovering from being sick and they were very tired. They both took 2 1/2 hour naps that day. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday.
Ellie Bunny
Easter Sunday morning after a delicious breakfast and before church Ellie did a egg hunt around the house to find the Easter Baskets. That's a tradition in Pat's family. One golden egg starts the egg hunt with a clue inside to find another egg and so on. Each egg has a clue. She loved solving the clues and finding the eggs all over the house. The microwave, to the piano bench, the dryer, and on and on. The Easter baskets were hiding in the trunk of the car in the garage.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!
