My little travellers! The girls were awesome during our crazy travelling. Long story, but after being in the airport from 8am-5pm we were told we wouldn't get out so we were put up in a hotel (we live an hour from the airport) and flew out to Nashville bright and early the next morning.
This was Erin's first plane ride and she was wonderful. Happy, played, and slept!
We made it to Nashville just in time for my dear friend Allison's wedding, Phew! (seperate blog post)
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at CeCe and GPa's house.
Ellie and Erin love CeCe and GPa's pets. Betty, Sully, and Lilly love the girls too!
We played, shopped, went out to eat, visited with family friends, did some Easter activities and much more. Here are just a sampling of pictures from our visit.
Aunt Erin came in town for a long weekend!
GPa showing Ellie her little 4 wheeler.
Very serious and concentrating on driving. She loved it and got really good at driving and steering around the driveway and cul-de-sac.
Miss Erin really enjoyed her walker. She could watch everything that was going on around the house. Especially watching Cece and GPa's the dog and cats.
Ellie loved her swim outings with GPa. She loves using the kickboard in the pool. When Daddy and GPa took Ellie to the pool she enjoyed being a "torpedo" through the water going back and forth between the two of them.
Hugs for Aunt Erin and Cece!
We had fun doing a girls trip to get pedicures. Ellie sat in my lap while I got my pedicure and the sweet girls painted Ellie's nails and toenails. She was SO loved our nail salon outing!
Loving feeding herself some sweet potatoes!
Adventure Science Center in Nashville
(too many pictures to post) We had a fun time!
Our last night we went to Puckett's Boathouse for dinner and live music. My friend Allison and Patrick (the newlyweds) came to meet us! They had just gotten back from their honeymoon.
GPa couldn't wait to take Ellie to watch the band play and Ellie had fun dancing with Daddy and GPa on the dance floor.
GoodBye Music City
Off to Peachtree City for the second leg of our trip.
