Thanksgiving Holiday Part 1

The Thanksgiving holiday was a very busy one for the O'Donnell family. We have been very busy travellers over the past week and a half.  We began our travels the Thursday before Thanksgiving with a flight down to Nashville, TN  to see my parents and attend my dear friend Lori's wedding.   This was Ellie's 3rd time flying, 1st time to have Daddy with us.  Wow, it was SOOO nice having Pat with me to help!!!  Ellie was so well behaved :)
On Friday we drove over to Pat's grandparent's house for lunch.  Granny and Papa thrilled to see their great granddaughter.  This was the only the second time they have gotten to see Ellie.

Love this picture :)
Friday night, I went on a girl's night out to celebrate the Bride-to-Be!  We had a lingerie shower to start the evening then out to dinner at Cabana.  I definitely needed an evening out with the girls!  While I was out my parents had a bunch of friends over to their house who were all anxious to welcome back Pat and gush over Ellie.

Saturday was the only day we weren't travelling so we enjoyed a quiet day.  Did some shopping with my mom and my dad, Pat, and Ellie went to Chick Fil-A for lunch (we don't have Chick Fil-A anywhere close to us).  Pat LOVES Chick Fil-A!!  We also did a mini Thanksgiving dinner with my parents and played lots of cards in the evenings.

Sunday, Pat and I drove to Knoxville for Lori and Paolo's wedding.  Ellie stayed in Nashville with Cece and GPa. This was the first time I have ever left her for a night and as expected, she did great!!!  She had so much fun with her Cece and GPa and of course they love taking care of her.

Lori is a college friend, sorority sister, and roommate.  She meet Paolo while she was an Au Pair for a family in Italy.  Yes, Paolo is Italian.  He has moved to the United States to be with his new wife!!  The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and they exchanged their vows in both English and Italian.  The reception was on a boat where we dined, danced, and enjoyed the sites of Knoxville.

Pat was quite a hit at the wedding with Paolo and all his Italian friends.  They were so excited to meet a real helicopter pilot and hear all about his job.   I had so much fun seeing my wonderful Auburn girls!!  It's hard because we are all spread out now across the country and we don't get to see each other very often.  Love you girls!!  We had a wonderful time celebrating Lori and Paolo!!!

Thank you Cece and GPa for taking care of our baby girl!!!

Ellie loves you both so much!!!

Tuesday we flew back to New York to get ready for part 2 of our travels.
