Happy 1st Birthday to Our Beautiful Baby Girl, Eleanor!!!

In the morning we took her monthly pictures in her room and later in the afternoon we went to the park for Ellie's 1 year pictures.  We took over 500 pictures today!!!  We opened presents, enjoyed quality family time, and ate yummy cake (those pictures tomorrow!) We have had a very fun and busy day!!!  We are so excited to have our families come this weekend for Ellie's big birthday bash with family and friends :)

• Ellie weighs 20 lbs. 8oz. (41 percentile),  29 1/2 inches tall (64 percentile) 
• Size 3 diapers during the day, Size 4 at nighttime.
• Sleeps at least 12 hours at night!  Taking 1 long morning nap and a short afternoon nap.
• When she was born she had the beginnings of an extra digit on her left hand attached to her pinky finger.  The doctors tied it off and the extra skin fell off in about a week.
• Her favorite foods are pears, blueberries, avocado, peas, grilled cheese sandwich, yogurt, broccoli, edamame, pretty much whatever you put on her tray.
• Ellie loves clapping, waving, and high 5s!!
• In the past few weeks she learned "Touchdown".  Whenever you say touchdown she puts her arms up with excitement.  We watch a lot of football in our house :)
• Signs for "more" and "all done".  Working on "please".
• Ellie loves playing with her Daddy :)

• Ellie took 3 steps last night all by herself!!  She can stand alone without holding anything for a couple minutes.  She is sooo close to walking :)

• Ellie has 7 teeth and I think more are about to make their appearance. 
• She has a big gap between her top 2 teeth and uses that to make a whistling sound.
• Ellie is starting to get more cuddly and we are loving it!!
• Ellie does lots of talking and jabbering.  Says mama, dada, hey, hi, and bye bye.  Those are the most distinguishable words she says.
• She loves playing in her room, especially her book basket. She flips through every single book and then puts them all back in the basket.
• Ellie is such a big helper!!!

One year ago we were blessed with this amazing little girl.  She truly is a miracle and answered prayer.  Ellie has brought some much joy and purpose to our lives!!  I could go on and on about her silly and sweet personality.
