Oohh Canada

Saturday morning we got up and decided to drive up to Kingston, Ontario and tour around this nearby Canadian city.  It's a beautiful, European like city sitting right on Lake Ontario.   We sat outside with the view of the lake and enjoyed a delicious lunch then walked around the city and along the waterfront.  There was a farmer's market, a fishing contest and festival going on right in the Harbor.  Ellie especially loved watching all the ducks.  We wished we had saved some of our bread from lunch so she could take part in the feeding the ducks, but she enjoyed watching others feed them.

My camera battery died early on in the day so I didn't get many pictures :(  My feet were pretty sore after all the walking we did.  The weather was beautiful and the breeze made it the heat feel much better.

As we were driving home we could hear this sweet little girl's voice singing  "Oohh Canada, Oohh Canada"  over and over.  Haha, it was so funny!  While we were walking around the festival they stopped to sing the Canadian National Anthem and I guess Ellie was really listening.  This child loves music!!

That evening we went to a BBQ at one of Pat's fellow soldiers house.   It was a long, but fun day!!
