Happy 21 Months Eleanor!!!
It seems like the months are just flying by and our little baby is no longer a baby anymore. She has grown up so much and seems ready to step into her new role as a big sister!!
Pat calls her a little "mini mommy".
These past 3 months she has been busy, busy, busy growing and changing.
She weighs roughly around 25 lbs and last measured in at 33 inches tall. She has 16 teeth!!
Her hair has grown a lot!! Woohoo!! She asks for "piggy tails" a lot these days.
We have done lots of fun outings, Wildlife Center, Old McDonald's Farm, the local Zoo, Splash Park days, day trip to Canada, and much more.
She is learning so much and just soaks up everything!!
Ellie is a little parrot. She talks all the time and talking in sentences. She is a very verbal which is helpful when she needs something and explaining things to her.
Some of my favorite things she says:
In the mornings when she wakes up she'll say "Ellie slept well."
When she is looking through a book or magazine she'll say "oops, I skipped a page."
"Just wet diaper. No poopoo diaper for Ellie."
"Ellie's right here." pointing to herself. She will tell where anyone or anything is.
When we tell her "I love you". She responds "I love Mommy" or "I love Daddy" That just melts your heart everytime.
She definitely Miss Independent saying "Ellie's turn" or "Ellie goes first" That's what we hear when it's toothbrushing time. She wants to do it all by herself.
She is very good about asking and saying "please Mommy" and "thank you Mommy" or whoever is helping her.
She is always listening to everything we are saying.

I have already noticed that she has a little bit of an obsessive compulsive nature. She has to put things away right where they go. It's funny just watching her little mind at work.
Some of her favorite things to do are helping me empty the dishwasher, folding the laundry, and putting up the groceries. If she hears the dishwasher open she comes running in the kitchen "Help Mommy!" When we get back from the grocery store I put all the bags in the middle of the kitchen floor and she careful takes the items out, brings it to me, and names everything. It's great help!! And nice that she is now old enough to understand the we don't mess with folded laundry. Probably the cutest things she says when folding Pat's clothes are "Daddy's Undies." Haha, she is a mess!
Ellie loves to be outside playing and running around. Swinging, sliding, climbing, etc. What kid doesn't right?
Ellie loves to sing!!! We sing lots of songs. Been trying hard to get a video of her singing.
Also something that makes me very proud is if she sees an Auburn logo she'll say "War Eagle Hey!" and if you ask her what a tiger says she'll respond "War Eagle Hey!" My little Auburn girl in the making :)
She loves building with her Legos. This little creation she did all by herself. Her favorite thing to build is a "puppy dog house". I love building with Legos too, so when I am building a house for puppy she'll "nice puppy dog house!"
Other than Legos her favorite toys right now are her Baby Dolls, puzzles, looking through magazines, and pretty soon she will be enjoying her play kitchen that we are getting for her as a gift for when baby sister comes.

Ellie is such a sweetheart and a blessing! She has such a kind heart and a helpful spirit. She is fearless while being cautious at the same time. She is SUPER silly yet can be very shy when you first meet her. It's hard to believe that she is almost 2 years old. So many more big changes to come. I know that she is going to be a wonderful big sister.
We love you Elle Belle!!
