Family Fun

When Pat got home from Germany we got to enjoy a couple more days of block leave and some family time before Pat's back to busy busy work.   Lots of walks, playing at the park, dinners on the deck, and much more.
Friday evening we went to the Fair. Ellie rode the Carousel for the first time! We enjoyed some yummy fair food, watched a Frisbee Dog show, a Big Cat Encounter, and Ellie went fishing and won a little prize.

Saturday was a really hot day!!  We spent the day outside, playing in the pool, sprinkler, water table, and swing set.  It was very relaxing and much cooler than being in our hot house (central air isn't common in homes up here).  We had a picnic lunch in the backyard and just played and played!!
After our playtime it was time for a good long nap!

Sunday we enjoyed lunch on Lake Ontario and then Pat went into work for a few hours during Ellie's naptime.   It was nice to have some good family time before getting back to a busy week.

This week Ellie and I enjoyed going to the Splash Park with friends and getting some relief from the hot weather!   Today, we are going to Ellie's first Gymnastics class :)  Very excited!
