Father's Day Weekend

Still getting caught up.  This is how we celebrated Father's Day weekend.

We were so excited to get to celebrate Father's Day with Pat.  It was officially his 2nd Father's Day, but his first home with us!   Saturday after yardwork and naps we setup Ellie's pool and enjoyed playing in the backyard then had dinner out on our deck.  I made ribs in the crockpot!! They were delicious.  Later, we went out for ice cream.

Sunday morning we had a pancake breakfast, gave Pat the gifts Ellie and I had made for him.  Forgot to get a picture of the gifts and they are already with him at work on his desk.  Later we went to the Watertown Zoo located at the park very close to our house.   We walk at this park all the time but had never been to the Zoo.  After the zoo we had a picnic lunch at the park, then home for naps.

Ellie had a blast seeing the animals. 
We saw lots of farm animals, elk, a bald eagle, a black bear, wolves, otters, bats, mountain lion, etc.
It really was a nice little local zoo. 

Happy Father's Day!!!  Pat is such a wonderful dad.  Although he is SUPER busy with work, he makes the most of the time he has at home with us.  Ellie loves her Daddy!!!
