Ellie's Half Birthday!!

6 Months Old!! I Can Hardly Believe it!!!
Ellie has had a very busy month with lots of firsts!!!
First airplane ride.
First trip to the beach.
First time rolling completely over. Now, she is rolling all over the place.
First time she grabbed onto her foot. She has been eyeing her feet for several weeks now trying so hard to get them in her grasp.
First Easter.
First time celebrating my birthday with me!
First time eating something other than breast milk. Organic brown rice cereal today for her half birthday. More to come on that tomorrow ;)

These are a couple gifts for Ellie in her chair to celebrate the day!!

Ellie is definitely right in the middle of teething. She chews on whatever she can get her hands on. Sometimes her gums really bother her, other times she is completely fine. Thankfully they aren't bothering her too bad to affect her nighttime sleep, naps are another story. She still sleeps anywhere from 11-12 hrs at night. Praise the Lord!!

This is what I am greeted by everyday after her naps and in the morning when she wakes up. She loves pulling down her bumpers and peeking over waiting for me to come get her. Silly girl!!

Her eyes are officially brown. The last month she still had blue around the edges but now all brown. She lost quite a bit of hair in the early months and what's growing back appears to be lighter, so the jury is still out on her hair color.

Tomorrow is her 6 month well baby check up, more info to come :)

I love being her mother!! She is the sweetest little thing and the best company. She is my little talker and I love it!!! It's so fun seeing her personality develop. While she can very vocal, she can also be such a calm observer soaking everything in.

She keeps me very busy but it's the best kind of busy. Nothing melts my heart more than her sweet belly laughs or when she just smiles up at me with her big beautiful eyes.

I love Eleanor!! Happy Half Birthday :)
