Time with family

First, my family came up to New York for a visit. We toured the North Country, celebrated the 4th of July, and they helped us with some much needed house projects. Luckily, Pat was able to take some time away from work to enjoy our company.

We took a boat tour along the St. Lawrence Seaway in the Thousand Islands to see Singer Castle.

Next, we headed to Cape Cod, MA to spend time with the O'Donnells. It was my first time to the Cape. We stayed with his aunt and uncle in the house Pat's dad grew up in. It's tradition in their family to take a picture outside the gate leading up to the house, so here our first picture together.
One thing on my list was to purchase the well known "Cape Cod Bracelet." We waited in line for about 45 minutes then made our way into this cute old house. Each person has their own salesman, they measure your wrist then you can pick out your bracelet. I chose to go with their signature bracelet because it's simple and traditional.
We spent a few days relaxing on the beach, did some sightseeing around the beautiful towns along the Cape, and enjoyed some cookouts with Pat's extended family.
