Our 6 month old little cutie!!
Erin Rose is just as sweet as she can be. Such a happy baby, but you better believe that she has a serious set of lungs on her!
She is weighing roughly between 12-13lbs. Wearing 3 month and 3-6 month clothes.
Sleeps between 11-12 hours at night and takes 3 naps a day.
This past month she has learned how to completely roll all the way over!!! Erin is rolling all over the place. She even rolled under her crib last week. Needless to say she was pretty shaken up about it.
Moving around a lot in circles and even backwards when she is on her tummy.
In these pictures she was smiling and laughing at Ellie being silly and dancing around Erin's room during our little photo shoot.
She loves her big sister! Ellie is so thoughtful and sweet to Erin. Always making sure she has a toy to play with and wants to get things for Erin when we are out running errands. When Ellie wakes up in the morning the first thing she does is give Erin a hug and kiss.
Erin is still nursing and not a fan of the bottle. I literally have a deep freezer full of breastmilk and a baby that will not take a bottle. But all we can do is keep trying. Once she was around 2 months old she stopped taking a bottle from someone. I haven't tried giving her a bottle but I may start working with her so that it can make trips out in public a little easier. She gets distracted very easily when she nurses. She has taken a few bottles from my mom when she was visiting. You just have to catch her at the right moment ;)
Erin's eyes are still blue. WooHoo! Her hair is also lighter than Ellie's.
Erin has also grown to enjoy bathtime! All of Ellie's encouraging words during bath must have helped her. Ellie would say "Baths are fun sister. Baths are silly!" Erin used to cry out when you first put her in the water and when you took her out. Now she is happy during all of bathtime, splashing, kicking her feet, and trying to eat the wash cloth.
Erin had her first solid on her 6 month birthday!! Organic Brown Rice cereal.
She was a BIG fan! Slurping it off the spoon.
Licking her lips!!!
This week I am going to get to my BabyCook out and start making her baby food. Ellie is excited and eager to help me start stocking up the freezer with veggie purees for Erin.
