The time seems to be going by soooo quickly. It's been so fun this past month watching her grow and discover the world around her.
- During this past month she graduated from Newborn diapers to Stage 1. She also got out of her newborn clothes and into her 0-3 month clothes.
- Beginning around 6 weeks she started sleeping 7-8 hours at night!!! Mommy is very thankful for that :) Let's hope that it continues, so far so good.
- Ellie made her first long car trip, 14 hours one way. She did an awesome job!!
- She is obsessed with ceiling fans (when they aren't even moving). We turned one on the other day for the first time and she loved it even more.
- She's developing all these different facial expressions. I was finally able to get some pictures of her smiling. She is getting good at cutting her eyes at you. But nothing is better than when she gives you a little smirk :)
- She is giving her vocal cords a good workout, especially when she is fighting going to sleep during a nap. I think she is going to be quite the talker. She already acts like she has a lot to say ;)
- Ellie had a wonderful first Christmas. She slept through most of the gift opening. She got her first piece of jewelry, a beautiful pearl and birthstone bracelet from Daddy. It was a nice surprise!
- Ellie has her Momma's love for shopping. She has been very well behaved on all our shopping trips.
- She actually enjoys bath time and tummy time now!! Although baths don't seem to relax this little one, they seem to give her a burst of energy. Tummy time is working well because she is getting stronger and stronger.
- Ellie likes you to walk her around the house and talk about all the things you see. The Christmas decorations were a big hit. She is becoming more curious and aware of her surroundings everyday.
- Ellie loves holding onto my hair. She latches onto my hair every time I am carrying her around on my shoulder. It's the sweetest thing!
It's a wonderful time watching her grow.
Thank you Ellie for bringing so much joy to my life everyday.
